The Met Opera Radio Schedule

KHFM Presents
The Met’s Saturday Matinee Broadcasts
Saturdays at 11am

The Metropolitan Opera broadcasts return to KHFM on Saturday, December 7, kicking off the 2024-25 season with a mix of premieres, classic favorites, and memorable archival performances.

Newly commissioned works include Jeanine Tesori’s Grounded, Jake Heggie’s Moby Dick, John Adams’ Antony and Cleopatra, and Osvaldo Golijov’s Ainamadar, based on the life of poet-playwright Federico García Lorca. In addition to these modern premieres, the season features iconic productions such as Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro and Puccini’s La Bohème.

Listeners can also enjoy rare archival treasures, including a historic 1964 performance of Verdi’s Falstaff, conducted by Leonard Bernstein.

Join us on Saturdays through June 7 to hear new productions and premieres, all-star casts, and a Listeners’ Choice broadcast. Hosted by Debra Lew Harder.
