Santa Fe Opera Presents:

The Magic Flute

Imagine a magic flute that can tame the wildest of beasts. Can Prince Tamino and Papageno use it to save the princess Pamina? They embark on a fantastical quest – and along the way, they encounter enchanting characters and face daring trials.

On Friday, July 10th & Wednesday, July 15th, 8:30pm at the Santa Fe Opera. Join KHFM tailgating before each of these operas with wine from Vivac winery! We would love to see you there. A special late-night Rail Runner train will run after Friday and Saturday night performances providing opera-goers from Albuquerque and all communities in between with a late-night return option by rail. 

Madama Butterfly

A Japanese girl sacrifices her heritage for the American dream when a naval officer chooses her for his bride. Her dream is crushed by betrayal when he traps her in the very cage she wishes to escape. She seizes her destiny, and the devastating outcome lingers long after the final note.

Eugene Onegin

With unbridled passion, devastating heartbreak and unspoken regret, Tatyana’s love is rejected by Onegin, who, a little too late, realizes his mistake. Don’t miss this unforgettable journey through longing, desire and the haunting question: What if?

14th Annual Summer Choral Festival Concert

The 175-voice Festival Chorus will present the U.S. premiere of Requiem by Taylor Scott Davis, accompanied by a professional orchestra and conducted by Matthew Greer. Opening the concert, the Choral Scholars will perform works of contemporary composers, including the premiere of a new piece by Davis.
