Melanie Bacaling is a familiar face for cast and crew at the Santa Fe Opera, having worked there in various capacities since 2018. Now House Assistant Director (and a member of the Stage Directing Staff at the Metropolitan Opera as well), she makes her mainstage Santa Fe Opera debut with Puccini’s classic, Madama Butterfly, opening the season on July 3!
